DAVID SMITH Design + Build
Los Angeles native David Smith graduated from Ascension Lutheran High School in 1980 and studied business with a minor in architecture at USC. He began working in construction in 1982 in the greater Los Angeles area and has since accrued more than 33 years of general construction experience. He has extensive knowledge in designing and building from interning at several large architectural firms.
David Smith is also the owner of DAVID SMITH Design + Build. The firm was established in January 1987, and now has an in-house crew boasting more than 150 years of combined experience in the remodeling and building trade. David Smith is accountable for all facets of construction management, including the oversight of projects, quality control, budgeting, estimating, building and sustaining client, consultant, and supplier relationships.
David has managed new construction, large scale custom homes, renovation, and tenant improvement jobs. David Smith has done work for the Truman Home and Hollywood Cinematography Building. As a real estate agent, he has worked with numerous asset management companies, management companies, and brokers.

DAVID SMITH Design + Build offers free initial design consultations for all of our clients. Carefully reviewing clients’ design concepts and request, we work through their options for structural specifics including windows, doors, materials, colors, and more.
We can work with existing blueprint concepts if needed or we can mock up designs completely from scratch. We also provide alterations to the existing designs. Our design services are available for all structures from residential to commercial and industrial
DAVID SMITH Design + Build provides the highest quality residential and commercial general construction services to our clients. From start to finish, we cover everything from soil samples to permit processing, construction, and inspections. Our administrative services handle all necessary subcontracting work as well.
